HyperBac Receives Editors Choice Accolade in SQL Server Magazine

May 9, 2008 – HyperBac recently received the Editors Choice accolade in the April 2008 edition of SQL Server Magazine in an article entitled 'SQL Server Backup Compression Shootout'.

In the article an independent review was done against several backup compression utilities including Red Gate SQLBackup, Idera SQLSafe and HyperBac for SQL Server. Quest Software (LiteSpeed) opted not to participate in the comparison.

HyperBac came out on top in the comparison receiving 4 out of 5 stars, with Red Gate's SQLBackup receiving 3 stars and Idera's SQLSafe receiving 2.5 stars. The article highlights HyperBac's clear differentiators against all other compressed backup software products on the market.
